Haupt earned a masters degree at N.D.S.U. in botany with an emphasis in rangeland management and has been employed by the Department of Trust Lands since 1988. Mike Brand, Director, Surface Management Division. (701-328-1918) Mike Brand backs up Mike Haupt as needed both in the office and in the field with easements, permits and well site locations. Brand earned a Ph.D. at N.D.S.U. in botany with an emphasis in rangeland management and has been employed by the State Land Department since 1979. Mike Humann, Rangeland Professional. (701-328-1917) Mike Humann works with easements for roads with political subdivisions and also gravel mining leases. Humann earned a masters degree at N.D.S.U. in botany with an emphasis in rangeland management and has been employed by the Department of Trust Lands since 1987. Deb Jacobs, Right-of-way Technician. (701-328-2804) Deb organizes the right-of-way application process and manages document preparation. All forms and documents are ultimately processed by Deb and she prepares the final easement, permit or surface damage documents.
