We are delighted to have you join us as we host the National Association of State Trust Lands (NASTL) Summer Conference.  The conference will be held July 12–15, 2026, in the beautiful town of   Medora, North Dakota. This year’s conference brings together professionals and partners from across the nation to share insights, strengthen collaboration, and explore the unique landscape and heritage of the Badlands. Please note that rooms have been blocked at the Badlands Motel for attendees until May 11th, so be sure to secure your accommodations early. Please note that several conference events will require that you have your own transportation.  The majority of conference agenda items will be located within the Roughrider hotel conference room (walking distance from the Badlands Motel). 

Most of Medora may be explored on foot but additional outings including, but not limited to, the Medora Musical and Pitchfork Fondue, the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library event, and the Maah Daah Hey Trail hike will require your own vehicle or carpooling.
